We had the lunch set. Food was artistically displayed and served. Taste was amazing and satisfying. I've always loved the seafood hot and sour soup...MUST HAVE!!! They have quite a good selection of tea as well. You have to try it. Goes well with the food. Service was tip top. We were very well taken care throughout our meal. Thank you. Will be back to try the Peking duck next.
By far the best roast duck and roast pork I have ever tasted. Wow...their roast duck, first served with its crispy skin, and then the premium cut meat to go with the wrap style. Finally, the balance of the meat in minced style to go with baby lettuce. I would highly recommend their roast duck if you have a group of 4 people and above to share.
Roast pork - carefully selected cut and you can see how much love they put into roasting the pork.
Maybe I am bias as I love chinese food, I feel every dish is a perfect 10 here.
Dress code - strictly no open toe shoes and gym clothes.
Service is impeccable here. They served us an ice cream decorated plate as we mentioned it is meant for a birthday celebration during reservation.
the peking duck was very good as it was served hot. the meat was very juicy and the skin was very crispy. however, they only gave us 12 pieces of duck skin when you can see that the duck in the picture is quite big. we made the remaining duck meat into duck noodles and for such a huge duck we only got tiny shreds of duck meat. the noodles was also a very small portion, maybe for 2 people. after we commented that we had very little duck meat for how big the duck was, the staff gave us some duck carcass (mostly bones and very little meat) and explained that the chef only selects and cuts off parts of meat without bone. the duck they gave us in compensation was also definitely not ours as there were duck drumsticks but we already asked for them to carve out the drumsticks for us separately. the amount of duck meat we got from a decently sized duck is quite absurd.
other than the problems with the duck, the rest of the food was alright. we ordered the siew mai which comes with a quail egg instead of a shrimp inside which was okay. nothing to write home about.
the cereal prawn was above average as the cereal was really quite good. the fish was also very tender and delicious. the desserts were also very good.
however all in all the experience with the duck soured our dining experience.
Peking duck had crispy skin and was delicious! However, the duck eefu noodles was not impressive. The 叉烧 and 烧肉 were quite pricey but worth trying once. The spicy chicken cubes 辣子鸡 was fantastic!
Food is pricey and taste above average in general. Nice ambience. Been here several times but didn’t like how they squeeze 5 of us into 2 table with one guest to sit by the side. Usually we had 3 tables. Very uncomfortable arrangement and didn’t enjoy tonight’s dinner. Food served was super fast too till we had to stop the food as the tables were filled with dishes before we can start eating. Very disappointed. However, today’s service staff, Kristin was good.
A friend told me their Peking Duck is really good so was so excited to try it but unfortunately it was sold out 😩
Besides the Peking Duck, we did had a good “pricey” lunch. 😄
The food was good, I especially like the Signature crispy sugar coated Peking duck bun and their Hot & Sour soup.
The service was good and efficient.
The venue is simply cosy with old charms vibes.
It’s pricey because of their premium proteins.
One of the best Chinese fine dining cuisine in Singapore. I really love the dark, romantic interior which you dont often see at Chinese restaurant. All the dishes were very tasty and prepared with the utmost refinement. My most favorite dish was the sweet and sour pork. Each pork piece is coated beautifully in the sweet and sour sauce. The hot and sour soup really opens up your appetite for the entire meal. The desserts provided the perfect closing for the evening dinner. I only wished we had reserved the peking duck as they only have limited portions each day.
Food and service were pretty good but extremely pricey. We had the famous duck and fish and broccoli and asparagus (thinking it was one dish but it was 2 dishes. The green bamboo forest dessert is delightful. The place is fully booked and do not take in walk ins.
